Morehouse Women's Challenge is a twelve-month residential treatment facility for women who struggle with drug and alcohol addictions. The program is patterned after the Teen Challenge Program and is structured with Bible study, prayer, and worship. The women also learn life skills such as responsibility, communication, decision making, and relationship skills
Dr. Toni Edwards, director of Morehouse Women's Challenge has over 30 years clinical experience as a licensed psychologist. Students receive regular counseling sessions with her to address life controlling issues and set goals for their future.
The purpose of the program is to introduce the women to a relationship with Jesus Christ and to develop their Christian character and integrity. This approach has been very successful in freeing people from their addictive behavior patterns and leading them into a new life.
But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.
